Andrea C. Roche
Founding partner and Yale Law School graduate Andrea C. Roche has over 15 years of legal experience, from workers’ compensation to insurance defense. She served as a member of the South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Commission from 2006-2014 and Chairman of the Commission named by Governor Sanford from 2008-2010. Andrea clerked for Honorable Robert F. Chapman on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and the Honorable Carol Connor of the South Carolina Court of Appeals as staff attorney for the Court. Coupled with her passion for legal representation and education, Andrea also taught legal writing at USC School of Law.
Derrick L. Williams
Founding partner Derrick L. Williams brings nearly 20 years of legal experience to the firm and is one of the youngest-ever to serve on South Carolina’s Workers’ Compensation Commission, serving from 2007-2013. His career scope extends to business litigation, franchise and distribution litigation, and labor and employment. Derrick received his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2002. He served as a member of the American Bar Association, the South Carolina Board of Law Examiners, and was the first black President of the College of Charleston Alumni Association where he received his undergraduate degree. Derrick is committed to serving his South Carolina community where he grew up, currently serving on the Executive Committee for the Richland County Bar Association and the Central Carolina Community Foundation Board.
April Harmon
Senior Paralegal April Harmon has over 15 years of experience in the legal field, and received her paralegal certificate at Spartanburg Methodist College. April is a highly valued member of our Williams & Roche team; her sharp communication skills and extensive paralegal experience makes her an invaluable asset to our firm. April and her husband have two boys and love to garden.
